Gregory Mardon

Gregory Mardon's drawings are snapshots of intimate secrets. The artist acts a hidden witness, and makes the spectator his accomplice. This forced connivance is disturbing, especially when the depicted character is an exhibitionist...

Erotism is a recurring theme within Gregory Mardon's art. Whether he depicts loneliness, depression or even crimes, women sensuality is central. Gregory loves beautiful women with a provoking attitude, as if beauty can never be pure and innocent.

Gregory Mardon (b.1971) lives and works in Paris. He is graduated from Les Gobelins Art Schooll. He shares his time between drawings and writing illustrated novels. Over the last ten years he has published eight books with prestigious French publisher Editions Dupuis. His books are an extension of his drawings.

Gregory Mardon's artworks are original black & white drawings that have been scanned, digitally colored and printed in limited editions by the artist.
